Create your photo

1Your photo

Best results: a sharp photo with even light and faces toward the camera. For family effects, use one photo with everyone in it. Avoid sunglasses, masks and heavy filters.

2Your greeting

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload a photo

A portrait, a couple photo or a family shot. Faces stay as they are.

  2. 2

    Write your greeting

“Merry Christmas from the Lees”, “Happy Holidays 2026” or anything short you like.

  3. 3

    Download the card

You get a portrait 5×7 card image, ready to print at home or at a photo shop, or to send as a picture.

Why make a Christmas card with AI

Card templates make your photo fit their design. Here the design is built around your photo instead: colors, frame and lettering are generated to match it.

It also saves a step. Instead of editing a photo first and then placing it in a template, you go from photo to finished card in one go.

Writing a greeting that renders well

Short greetings render most cleanly: aim for two to six words plus a name. Very long sentences are more likely to have letters out of place.

Check the spelling of names on the finished card before printing. If the text comes out garbled, report it with “Broken result?” in My creations to get your credits back, then try again.

FAQ

What size is the card?

Cards are made in a portrait 5×7 layout, the most common size for printed holiday photo cards.

Can I choose the greeting text?

Yes. You type the greeting yourself, up to 40 characters. Short greetings with a name come out cleanest.

Can I write the greeting in Spanish or Portuguese?

Yes. Accents usually come out fine, but check the spelling before you print, especially on names.

Does it work with a family photo?

Yes. Group photos work as long as faces are clearly visible, and parents can include their own children.
